Emotient is a new application for smart glasses of Google, which identifies the feelings of those around us, using the built-in camera of the device.
The software scans the face for signs that reflect a certain state. It may even establish shades and degrees.

The application can inform us, for example, that the person in front of us is “moderately satisfied”.

Currently the new technology being tested by several companies, but in the final version could help retailers to serve customers better.

Users are likely also to be able to try it as the company Emotient states that the program will be available on the platform Intel RealSense. This means that soon the webcam on the computer we can tell if we are in a good mood.
